You won’t believe where I did an e.l.f. Mini-haul!!!

Today I was out shopping with the kid, since she’s a couple inches taller than last summer and nothing fits, and we are nearing the register for check out. I look over and see some cosmetic items. Now, being that I’m a makeup junkie, I proceed to check out what they have. I honestly expected pure crap, because I’m not at Target, or one of the usual local drug store chains. Upon closer inspection, I see these are the very affordable e.l.f cosmetics (eyes lips face)!

Where was I? I was at Old Navy! Yes, Old Navy! When did they start carrying e.l.f. Cosmetics?! When I tell you they had some makeup products in there, I kid you not, they had some makeup in there! There were: eye shadow palettes, eye liners, eyelid primer, eyelash curlers, lippies, blush palettes, bronzer, concealers and brushes! If I was not on a budget for my upcoming vaca, you know I would have just picked up one of everything to try! I did however, have to exert some self control (this time!) and only select a few key items.

Here they are…

The only item I’ve purchased before and absolutely love, is the Kabuki face brush. If you want a soft brush for applying powder, this is it! All the other items I will be trying out for the first time.

From top left to right:

  • Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
  • Expert Liquid Liner
  • Eyelid Primer
  • Kohl Eleliner
  • Kabuki Face Brush
  • Healthy Glow Bronzer
  • Zit Zapper
  • Blush Palette
  • Lip Exfoliator

If you’ve tried any of these items before, please leave a comment below and let me know what you thought of them.

Watch out for a makeup look tutorial using my makeup from this haul on my YouTube channel and of course I’ll post pictures on @beautysojourn on Instagram.

See you soon!

  4. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

  5. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
